August 7th Urban J Café featuring DJ Captain Kirk, Marque J for spoken word, and a variety of other special guests. As always there will be dancing, open mic, live music, and Jamaican cuisine by D & K’s

August 12th Minnesota Holy Convocation at North Central University. Luv Jonz will be performing, starts at 7pm
August 14th Pastor Stacey’s birthday celebration: “Stacey on the Grill” Music, dancing, DJ, cake, and a good time of roasting Stacey with impersonations, stories, and whatever else we can to celebrate his birthday!
August 17th (Tuesday) 7pm UJ Meeting at Cross Connections. Will be preparing for our anniversary fundraiser.
August 21st. Urban Jerusalem: Worship Experience
August 28th: ANNIVERSARY FUNDRAISER CONCERT 7pm at the Urban Hub in south Minneapolis. Come out to see some of the best artists in the Twin Cities, support our ministry, and have a good time!
September 4th: Our own Dwayne Brown will be having a CD Release Party at Cross Connections, starts at 7pm.

Bible Study will resume in September.

Urban Jerusalem and BIC present the annual End of the Year Jam Weekend Celebration featuring Corey Red, from the Bronx New York, and Mahogany Jones. This will be a two day event beginning January 2nd with a concert at Urban Jerusalem at 7pm at Cross Connections Community Center (1823 Emerson Ave N). The next day, Sunday January 3rd, minister Corey Red will be preaching at Believers in Christ (1001 Penn Ave N) at 11am, followed by a skating party at the Roller Gardens from 4:30pm-6:30pm. (Concert Saturday night is free, Roller Gardens cost $4/person)

What’s up everybody! This is a reminder that Urban Jerusalem has transitioned back inside for worship. Our location is 1823 Emerson Ave. N. Our time is Saturday’s @ 7pm. We are happy that people came out to support and serve with us. I praise the Lord for Chris Rush and his desire to encourage us to take this Gospel outside of the four walls. Even though we are back inside we will continue to evangelize by hitting the streets earlier that day and inviting people to come and join us that night. I am excited about the new relationships that we have built and developed with people in our community. Furthermore; this opened my eyes up even more to let me know that people are in need of a savior! We need your support and prayers. Please continue to pray for us. We are believing that he will supply all our needs.

I have to admit that this was an awesome summer but very challenging. It was amazing to see people set free from chains but in return the burden and the warfare was indescribable!!! I solicit and beg for your prayers. Please pray for Urban Jerusalem, Therefore Go and Minneapolis Believers in Christ ministries. There’s no doubt that our ministry needs financial support but I really need people to commit to praying for our ministry! If you can commit to praying for us please send me a response and let me know that you are taking the time out to pray for us. That will really encourage us.

Hey Everybody, I’m excited about this summer. We will be having our services outside at the Prayer Center on Parking Lot starting June 20, 2009, the location is 8121 1/2 Broadway Ave N. We are in partnership with Minneapolis Believers in Christ and Therefore Go Ministries. Please come out and support. We need your prayers as well. The service times will be 7pm to 9pm. I hope to see you there. Oh yeah! I almost forgot! We will be Grilling this coming Saturday June 13, 2009 at 5pm in front of Cross Connection Community Center 1823 Emerson Ave. MN 55411. Please feel free to bring something that we can put on the grill or bring some: hamburger or hot dog buns, paper cups, plates, soda etc. No mystery food (Lol). We do not want to scare the neighbors away!!! Please come and join us.
